also bert, just to note, i saw before that you and i did not see eye-to-eye on some movies. that surprised me too. i am glad you enjoyed indy, but i am waiting for the dvd you are seriously and literally the only person to recommend it out of ALL the people who saw it before me (running total of about or exactly 12 people).
i am seeing your fandango goodness, and i admit i still need to see panda. besides indy and panda, i saw the other 4 on your list (hulk, iron, hap, and caspian) and i loved all of them. let me know if i should wait for panda on dvd… even though i probably don’t have much time anymore anyway.
i also heard mixed reviews on wanted, but all of them concur that it was a cheese-fest, whether they liked it or not. still waiting for dark knight. i was told hancock was a good C-, which is dvd worthy for me, and i still wanna see get smart, but that may be a dvder as well.
for the up and comers: what do you think about hellboy 2, x-files, mummy, tropic thunder, and clone wars? gonna see any of them?

I have a first gen iphone and i love it. I thought about upgrading when the 3G came out but i don’t get great 3G data coverage where i am and i didn’t feel like paying more (data service) for something i didn’t get consistantly. I didn’t think that suffolk county had a strong 3G data net either, maybe i am wrong. I love the iphone but, being a former blackberry user i like the blackberry email better. besides that the iphone is great.

Yeah, I’m having pretty good luck with the 3G network on LI right now, although at this second I’m in the back woods of Virginia and my device is back on the Edge network, which sucketh.
I didn’t get the first gen iPhone, mostly because I was waiting for more space. I figure there will come a day when I can make this thing my primary ipod as well, but I’m kinda bummed that the plug is not a standard 1/8th inch jack. It’s my biggest complaint about it so far.
i need to get one ‘o them adapters.
